Announcing PhoneRaise for Desktop!

We are excited to share that PhoneRaise is moving beyond the phone and is now available on a desktop.

Until today you needed a smartphone to take full advantage of PhoneRaise. Today we are happy to share that PhoneRaise can be used by individuals who do not have a smartphone or prefer to use their desktop.

Currently, you can call, email, and send WhatsApp messages on the desktop. WhatsApp calling and Text Messaging are expected to be released in the 2nd quarter of 2023.

How PhoneRaise for Desktop Works

In the volunteer section of a campaign click on the link button to copy the link.
Paste the link in your browser to access the PhoneRaise desktop app.

3. Click on the phone icon to bring up the household member you want to call.

6. Once the call starts you can see in-call info on the right side. Click end call to hang up.

9. Click on the WhatsApp icon to open the WhatsApp desktop app or WhatsApp for the web.

10. Adding your own phone number

An organization can add its own phone number so its number will show up on Caller IDs Here is how this can be accomplished.

11. In Campaign Settings go to Third-Party Apps

12. Scroll Down to the Twilio Section

13. Enter the organization's Phone Number and click Verify

14. Verify The Phone Number

All phone numbers need to be verified. To have your number verified the number you entered will be called and you will need to enter a six-digit number.

15. Once you enter the number into your phone a verification success message will be displayed.

16. Allow volunteers to add their own phone numbers

You can allow volunteers to use their own number when calling donors instead of the default phone number.

18. When volunteer is in the desktop app click on settings

21. You will be asked to verify your phone number

22. When your phone rings enter the 6-digit number that is displayed
